ABOUT OUR CAUSE

BECAUSE EVERY LITTLE LIFE IS AMAZING

Bella SPCA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Oklahoma City created in 2006 to assist low-income, elderly, or terminally ill pet owners with the cost of veterinary care when it cannot be afforded through our Veterinary Assistance Program and Bella SPCA’s Non-Profit Veterinary Hospital. Every year thousands of animals are euthanized, surrendered to local animal shelters, or pass away because the people who love them cannot financially absorb the cost of veterinary care. At Bella, we believe every animal deserves the best possible veterinary care regardless of the owner’s ability to pay.

Since our beginning, Bella has provided more than $2 million dollars in funding to cover the cost of veterinary care for at-risk pet owners through our Veterinary Assistance Program.  Prices at our clinic are lower than most vet clinics in our city. If someone needs financial assistance to make their pet well, we will do our best to provide it as funding is available. Based on income qualifications, pet owners pay all, some, or none.

Bella SPCA Pawsitive Heelers group uses rescued dogs to visit people in VA Hospitals, hospice centers, and assisted living centers, to bring a little joy to people who really need it. Before our Co-Founder’s Grandfather passed from Alzheimer's disease; his little pup "D-O-G" was the only thing that brought him comfort in the end. It’s amazing how a dog can make someone forget their problems and pain and let them smile again.

Every dollar counts. Please help us save a life. Donate today and know that your donation is helping a little heart beat stronger.

Thank you,
